WelcomeSign started on Roku, and most rentals don’t have a Roku TV. Here’s where each of the other platforms stands.

- Roku, on every Roku streaming device and Roku TV
- Amazon Fire TV, including the Fire TV Stick. Get it from the Amazon Appstore, or search for “WelcomeSign” on the TV.
Submitted and under review
These apps are built, running on our own TVs, and submitted to each store. They’re under review now and will show up in the store once it’s approved:
- Samsung Smart TV (Tizen)
- LG Smart TV (webOS)
A redesigned Roku app is being submitted as well. It adds local recommendations with photos, events, an hourly forecast and QR codes that open a guidebook on the guest’s phone. Roku installs it as an automatic update, so there’s nothing to do on your side.

WelcomeSign is available now on Roku and Amazon Fire TV. If you have Roku devices at your properties, follow the Roku setup guide. On a Fire TV, install WelcomeSign from the Amazon Appstore and pair it with the code it shows.

Timeline
Store review times are out of our hands, so we won’t promise dates. For the platforms still to come, we build in the order hosts ask for them. Join the waitlist and tell us which one you need.
In the meantime, a Roku or Fire TV streaming stick (about $30) works on any TV with an HDMI port, and everything you set up carries over when your TV’s own app arrives.
